Malta, the small archipelago lost in the Mediterranean Sea, somewhere between Sicily, Italy and North Africa, may not be on everyone’s radar. But it’s known for its mild climate, breathtaking landscapes and some of the oldest temples in the world: the megalithic temples of Mnajdra and Ggantija (in Gozo) are about six thousand years old.
